Miss Tranquility Pageant - Introduction
Andrea Miller, Miss Tranquility 2006, has had a busy and fulfilling year. She has attended events county- wide as a representative for all of Calvert County, the “land of tranquil living.” The new Miss Tranquility’s duties will begin with hosting the 2007 Fair, but her reign will not end there. The new Miss Tranquility will host and participate in many events throughout the year of her reign.
If you would like to become a contestant simply fill out the Personal Questionaire Form, have a member of your sponsoring organization sign the form and return it together with the entry fee from your sponsor and your school transcript to the address listed in the Rules and Regulations no later than midnight, September 6, 2007.
It is the desire of the Miss Tranquility Pageant Committee to promote pride in our County. For this reason we enlist your support. If you know someone who is eligible and would like to participate in the contest, please pass this information on to her. Donations to the scholarship fund are always appreciated. The selection of Miss Tranquility will be made on the basis of scholastic achievement, participation in school and community activities, public speaking ability and poise during judged events of the contest. Please review the Rules and Regulations for the contest for more information.
